Hello! I’m Dana Khater, the founder of SOFRA, and I’m so glad you’re here.

SOFRA is a platform for the modern-day host, offering story-driven tableware created by artisans all over the world. But really, it’s much more than that. SOFRA was born from my lifelong obsession with collecting tableware from around the world (despite my husband’s objections) and the thrill of mixing and matching pieces from different places. My ideal dinner table is styled with glassware I picked up during my honeymoon in Mexico, plates from Kanazawa and linens from Cairo, each a nod to places I love and gentle reminders of trips that still make me smile.
